Social & Family Groups
Outdoor Education is a great way to give children the opportunity to learn different types of skills in a different environment using your curriculum and our accommodation, facilities and catering. The venue is perfect for both Primary and Secondary students.
We offer plenty of space to bring along other activities that would compliment our current activities such as the low ropes course.
We have been taking care of quite a few families that use our Camp for family reunions, weddings, celebrations of milestones as well as groups that just want to have a break away from distractions such as scrapbookers. Our facilities are great for boot camps, rest stops for Pony Clubs as we are just up the road from the Brisbane Valley Road Trail.
We are investigating a ‘Movie Night’ for locals that want to come along with their family to enjoy a night of entertainment which will be held in conjunction with our Working Bees.
Our group facilities, onsite services, activities and local surroundings make Camp Duckadang the perfect venue for your next Community Group getaway.
There is a broad range of groups that use our facilities for their interests; astronomers, camera clubs, Churches, Rotary and Lions Clubs. Being close to Brisbane but behind a mountain we are able to offer the attendees of Astrofest a wonderful view of the night sky without any light interruption.
Camp Duckadang is jointly administered by Lions Club Districts 201Q1, 201Q3 and 201Q4.
We offer groups like Youth Exchange, Youth Insearch and RYLA opportunities to explore our local area and take advantage of the services and facilities we have to offer.
COVID-19 Update as @ 16th June 2020| Lions Camp Duckadang is still closed and a tentative date for opening is scheduled for the 10th July 2020.
During this time of upheaval our Directors and Manager have been updating the facilities and processes to ensure the risk of infection is unlikely. COVID-19 awareness training has been undertaken, review of risk management and crisis management plans have been reassessed.
New signage and hand cleaning stations have been installed.

Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time and we look forward to welcoming you once again in the very near future.
Camp Duckadang acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work, live and play. We pay our respects to their Elders both past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
